Thank you for visiting my site and congratulations on taking the initial step toward either purchasing and/or selling your San Diego home or investment property. So, here in a "nutshell", is who I am:


I specialize in representing clients in both the sale and purchase of single family residences (detached and condominiums) and income property within Pacific Beach, Mission Beach and all of San Diego County. Also, my career with the U.S. Navy afforded me not only incredible travel opportunities but also, you could say that I am a "Relocation Expert"...having moved a total of 23 times during my married life!!! I mean, have you ever heard of someone who has that much experience in moving a household across the U.S.? And, across the globe as well! Last, I also specialize and truly enjoy assisting First Time Home Buyers in making that very critical and most nerve-wracking first home purchase.

Personal Information

Originally from New Jersey, I am married to a great Canadian born lady and superwoman, Shauna, and I have two children, Sean and Chris, two grand-daughters, Kendall and Jocelyn, and one grandson, Chris . You’ll see my grandchildren splattered all over my web site. They are my “pride and joy”!!! When I am not working with clients, I enjoy running, playing golf, traveling and spending lots of quality time with Kendall, Jocelyn, Chris and Grandma.


I earned a B.S. from Seton Hall University in 1970 and an MBA from Pepperdine in 1979. Since entering the real estate field, I have earned my Broker's License, graduated from Re/Max International's coveted "Road to Success" Program, and earned the following nationally recognized industry designations:


Following undergraduate studies, I began training with the U.S. Navy as a Naval Aviator and eventually earned my commission as a Naval Officer and my "Wings". This was the beginning of a most rewarding and challenging 23 year career. Following "retirement", I was the Executive V.P of a medical manufacturing company and also owned a restaurant. Now, I am a "more than full time" San Diego real estate Broker/agent and have been a Multi-Million Dollar Producer since the beginning and a member of ReMax's Award Winning Platinum Club. I am also honored to have been selected into the Re/Max Hall of Fame.


I am a member of the following organizations: All of these associations strictly enforce a rigorous code of ethics and ensure that its members are up to date on the very latest marketing techniques and legislation affecting real estate. I was also invited to become a member of the prestigious Star Power Club, an organization comprised of the top 1% of all agents in North America who sell the most homes, for more money and in the least amount of time when compared to all the other real estate professionals in the U.S.

Community Involvement

I am an active member of the San Diego Chamber of Commerce, the Navy League, Military Officer’s Association, Families of American Military, the San Diego based Warrior Foundation and the national Wounded Warrior Foundation. I also donate a part of every real estate transaction to the San Diego Children’s Hospital thru the Children’s Miracle Network.

My guiding philosophy will always be to conduct business with clients as if they were “close family” and always with integrity and honesty and I work hard to ensure that my clients possess every bit of information which they need in order to make an informed and intelligent decision. Having lived in the San Diego area for over 23  years, I have thorough knowledge of the entire San Diego region, including Pacific Beach and Mission Beach, and I am able to provide detailed info on comparable prices, financing options, commuting, community services, schools, etc., etc. I would be pleased to offer to potential clients a list of past clients who may be contacted to verify that I have not only met but exceeded their expectations.

How Am I Different from Other Agents?

The vast majority of agents spend nearly all of their time & resources prospecting for new business. They cold call, knock on doors, solicit thru the newspaper, etc. Quite frankly, I don't do any of that! Instead, I devote myself to "going well beyond" the expectations of my clients before, during and after each transaction. My philosophy is to always "over-deliver"! In so doing, all I ask is that if my clients are pleased with my performance, they refer other buyers or sellers who would enjoy and appreciate the same level of service. You see, I grow my business exclusively through referrals from friends and clients who I have assisted. And, as long as I do a great job for my clients, they keep referring their friends to me and I don't have to spend time prospecting like everyone else. That means that I can continue to do even a better job working for my clients! This makes a lot more sense and is certainly a lot more fun!

This prestigious award is a result of a survey in which researchers polled over 30,000+ recent homebuyers & sellers who had a direct personal experience with the agent. Clients were asked to anonymously evaluate agents across nine different attributes: customer service, integrity, market knowledge, communication, negotiation, closing preparation, finds the right home, marketing of home, overall satisfaction & whether they would recommend the agent to a friend. Union Tribune's San Diego's Best

best-of-logo-2013Each year, the San Diego Union Tribune (UT) selects categories of services, restaurants, retail stores, recreation, etc., where people can nominate their selections as the “Best of…..”. Recently, the UT included “Real Estate Agent” as one of the categories and the voting invited all San Diego County residents to vote for their choice as the Best Realtor in the county. The voting period consisted of both an initial and final screening with the final votes placed on-line. When the final votes were tabulated Tom had been voted one of the “Top 6” agents in the entire county. Given that there are more than 19,000 San Diego area residents holding real estate licenses, Tom is extremely gratified and proud because this honor represents client opinions regarding their overall satisfaction with his level of service, abilities, and that he represents the interests of my clients with integrity.
